Wraparound childcare

At Busy Kiddies Nursery, we offer wraparound care services to support the diverse schedules of modern families. Our breakfast club, from 8:15 to 8:30 am, provides a nurturing start to the day, as children can have an earlier start in the day with a light meal, while after-care runs from 3:00 to 5:30 pm for Busy Kiddies Nursery children and 3:30 to 5:30 pm for external children. During these times, children enjoy light snacks and engage in a range of fun activities including music, dancing, outdoor play, sensory exploration, art, role play, and educational games in reading and math.

STAFF

Our staff hold level 2, level 3 and teaching qualifications and maintain a high quality level of teaching throughout consistent training programmes to better develop children’s learning and development.

ASSESSMENTS

We follow the Early Years curriculum using Tapestry, which highlights each child’s development throughout each term, where we upload observations of your child through their free-play and adult led experiences.

Parents

Maintaining a positive parent-teacher relationship through providing termly meetings with parents and informing them on their child’s progression each term. We also communicate via our website and through newsletters.

RECRUITMENT

Nursery practitioners at Busy Kiddies Nursery need to be trained in either childcare level 2 or 3, or hold a PGCE and NQT in teaching EYFS.
